Tuberculum Sellae Meningioma
Tuberculum sellae meningiomas develop on the aforementioned region of the sphenoid bone, growing into the diaphragma sellae and compressing the pituitary gland while stretching the optic nerve. The tumor also grows into the optic canal further compressing the nerve.
