Jared Travnicek currently resides in Indianapolis Indiana where he works as a neurosurgical illustrator at Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine.
Jared was born in Iowa and pursued his undergraduate studies at Iowa State University where he received his BA in Biological/Pre-Medical Illustration. While at Iowa State, he worked at the College of Veterinary Medicine creating detailed illustrations for use in a book and as lecture aids for the veterinary students. Jared then went on to receive his MA in Medical and Biological Illustration from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in May of 2009.
